A little bit about Sassy Cheryl.....
Hi everyone! Sassy Cheryl here and I’m so happy to be sponsoring the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge this week.
I have been creating graphics and have licensed my work to companies such as Kohl's, Hobby Lobby and Shopko, among others, for over eight years. I started creating digital images about twelve years ago. I absolutely LOVE to draw and always carry a small sketchbook for those times when a bit of inspiration hits. It's been a lifelong dream to become a working artist, and besides deadlines, I LOVE everything about what I do! It really helps that I have a very supportive husband and son (they also can be my biggest critics!)
Through the digis I create, I’ve met so many wonderful, talented ladies. The projects they make using my images makes it all worth it. ‘Can’t wait to see what you will create with my Sassy images.

Challenges I'm Entering:
Card Ingredients:
1. Base: White SU
2. Coloured Paper: Pink from Rosie's Studio's, Pink and Mauve Bazzill pieces.
3. Design Papers: All scraps from my scrap bin
4. Image: Lucy Lou and Her Big Ornament Troubles by Sassy Cheryl's.
5. Colour Medium: Copics, Black, White and Silver embossing and gel pens.
You can see Lucy with her back to the Ornament, Lucy doesn't have any Glossy Accents on her but the Glass Ornament has been coated with Glossy Accents for the shine.
6. Tools: Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, Classic Circle, Lacey Circle, Fancy Framed Tags 2, Glossy Accents, Glue Dots, Pop Dots, Tacky Glue.
7. Sentiment: PC generated using Papyrus font and Fancy Framed Tags 2 from Spellbinders and a large hot pink gem from my stash.
I've tried to make Lucy Lou look like she's in a very large Christmas Ornament
8. Embellishments: Silver card, wire and twine for the top of the Christmas Ornament.
Silver organza ribbon and silver braid intertwined through the scalloped edge of the Spellbinders Die cut.
Top of Christmas Ornament
Pop Dots being used under my image lifting it off the card to give it a 3D effect.
9. Wire Silver ribbon twisted in a circle and this Silver Star paper clip as my Christmas embellishment. This product looks like a mini version of Christmas tinsel, it looks better and you can do so much with it. I've even used it on a Vintage card.
Hope you can see the Glossy Accents as Lucy Lou has her back to the Christmas Ornament.

Kathie, your card is absolutely wonderful. Your added embellishment really add that beautiful finishing touch to your card. I love how you made the circle an ornament too. Such a cute idea. ReplyDeleteYour creativity on this card just blows me away! Kathie this is a fabulous idea to create an ornament from the circle panel in the sketch! I need to crawl into your head and absorb all your wonderful ideas!!! The star with the wire ribbon entwined in it is a gorgeous touch as well as the silver pearls woven in the die cut. And to top it off, a handmade sentiment that is perfect for your card. Wowzers! This is one of your best cards ever and it's making a home in my favorite cards of all time folder!
