Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 Sketch # 219 our Sponsor is Bugaboo

Good morning and welcome to another wonderful Wednesday which can only mean that it's another Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

Congratulations to our winner and to our Top 3 cards.  Whilst I'm writing this I was hoping that we had more than 7 entries to cover these four spots.

Our dear Sally is still having Laptop problems and hasn't got it back from the repairers as yet so this week we have a blast from the past which Sally designed last year.

Sketch # 219

This week I've used this beautiful image from Bugaboo

For You From Me Block.

I totally love Hydrangea 's as a child I hated them they were such a common flower bush that grew everywhere.  But now I'm older I appreciate what a beautiful clever flower this is being made of so many individual flowers and they come in such a variety of colours.  These colours depend on what type of soil you have in the ground if it's acid or alkali.  We have them growing in our garden, but I haven't got my favourite colour this amazing mauve,  mine are cream, apple green, blue and a few pink.

Here's my blast from the past in August 2013

This week our sponsor is the wonderful
Jodie Mackrell the owner and illustrator of all these amazing images over at Bugaboo Stamps.

Bio:

Everything that you ever wanted to know about Bugaboo Stamps:  As if raising 5 children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the work of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. Bugaboo Stamps has become one of the leading companies in digital images. From seiously snarky to sugar sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects.  Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!!  If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps at Totally Stampilicious.  And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT for the weekly Challenges at Catch the Bug.

Don't forget to check out all of Jodie's amazing images

  3. Wow, this hydrangea card is gorgeous! Your papers couldn't be more perfect! Lovely job inside and out! Your monarch is a lovely contrast too. I have a hydrangea bush in my yard too. I just love the flowers. Mine is bright blue because of the acidic soil from the fir trees. Hope you are doing well. I'm sure the kids are keeping you busy too.
    Have a wonderful week!

  24. Kathie this is such a delightful card. I love that Bugaboo image too and used it several times last year. It's a joy to colour and comes up so well. Like you I didn't appreciate the beauty of this flower as a child. My parents had a huge hydrangea bush at their front door and it was always a mass of pink flowers in the summer. I too now have a hydrangea bush and really wish mine would flower even half as well as my parents one did! Guess I'll have to dream on! Jx
