HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Good morning, crafty friends from far and wide and welcome to my blog.  Today I'm posting a card for Mother's Day on 10th May in the USA, Australia and  New Zealand.  I know Mother's Day has already been in England.  Why on earth couldn't they have been the same day worldwide? Or it could be a Happy Birthday card.  This is the first Fan Fold card I've made.  I feel that if I made this again, it would be a little different.
Today, this card is for Polkadoodles.  Can't you see this beautiful image and design papers?

    It's another beautiful card Kathie, I love the colours which you have used and the papers are beautiful.
    You ask about Mothers day. In the UK it is Mothering Sunday and is always celebrated on the fourth Sunday of Lent. Historically it was a religious tradition where people returned to their mother church for a special service, for people working away from home eg in service, Mothering Sunday became one of the rare occasions they were allowed to return to their home town. Over time this occasion took on a broader meaning, visiting your mother became part of the tradition and the religious observance evolved into a family-focused celebration.
