Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch#112

Classic Fashion Elegance

Hi everyone wow it's Wednesday again and that means its Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  I'm back from they Sunny Gold Coast in Australia and back to a New Zealand winter.  Before we left the New Zealand winter had been one of our warmest on record and very little snow that's why we didn't go skiing.  This week its just the opposite, one of our coldest on record and snow every where.  Closing some of our Airports down, it's either a feast or a famine.

New Zealand's Snow
we don't have snow where we live.

Gold Coast Australia

I would rather be back on the Gold Coast or even Carins Australia at present as it's a lot warmer and a lot of sunshine and it's only a 3 hour flight from New Zealand.

Congratulations to all our winners this week there were so many amazing cards.

Sketch #112

SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY SKETCH #111

PRETTY SHOES

Hi everyone, well it's my last day in Australia today with my family.  It's school holiday's and we should have been on the ski slopes of New Zealand rather than being in Australia and getting a little winter sunshine.  As our temperatures have been really warm in New Zealand there isn't as much snow as there should be so might have a few days on the mountain when we get home and the boys go back to school on 1st August.

Today is Wednesday and it's another Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
Hopefully scheduler will have been kind to me again this week and posted my card when it should have and on time.

Congratulations to our winner this week and our top 3 there were some amazing cards.

This week we have another wonderful sketch from Arlana which you'll love and I loved working with it.

Card Recipe
Base: White SU
Card: Black & Green Bazzill, silver glitter paper
Design Paper: Unknown
Image: Petty Shoes from DigiStamp Boutique
Colour Medium: Copics, Silver atyou Spica by Copics
Sentiment: PC generated using Black Chancery font
Tools: Cuttlebug, Nestability Deckled Rectangle, Fancy Labels 2, Classic Oval, Classic Scalloped Oval, Pop Dots, Glue Dots, Silver Ink and finger dabber for the edges.  Martha Stewart Rose leaf punch.

Embellishments: Roses I bought at SENDZ I just had to have them as I love this green.  Gems, Silver Twine I used for the hanging of the shoes. Silver glitter hearts for the shoes. This lovely silver ribbon I found in Silver and Gold I did put green ribbon on the card and it was too much so that's why I went with the silver.

I love this card and it was Jeannie that gave me the idea for this card as I fell in love with her card using this same image a few months ago.

I feel a little bit of a cheat this week as there was very little colouring but the silver applique took me ages  to stick down but I love the finish.

Wishing everyone a great week and have fun crafting.

 JJT and S Tequila
My Best Friend's Birthday Card she can't drink more than two wines.

This was for an order for a lady and her birthday is today.

Well what a Wednesday, I don't think blogger loves me any more.  It's taken me about 5 hours to try and post this weeks posting over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and I hadn't even thought of this posting for my own blog.
Well today is my Anniversary with Sweet Sketch Wednesday, a year ago today I posted my first card  as a Design Team member thanks for a wonderful year girls it's been so much fun.

As I told you last week I was going to SENDZ to have a look around,  there was so much to see by the time I got round to all the stands it was nearly time to go home.  So I quickly went back to some stands I liked and made a few purchases of design papers as they were so cheap and I also bought some more Nestabilities which were a lot cheaper than I had been purchasing them for and I also bought some lovely flowers and Roses and a new guillotine.  So you'll see some of my new purchases in months to come.

Congratulations to all our winners this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday again there were so many amazing cards.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch #107

Bini Shop Girl (Shop till ya drop)

Good morning everyone here it is another wonderful sweet Wednesday,  and you all know what that means it's Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  Where has that week gone again as I'm getting older those days are getting shorter and I seem to be getting a lot less done or am I just getting a little slower at doing things???  I do think a bit of both LOL.  This week has been a hard one for me with my creativeness or a lack of it.   I thought I would work outside my comfort zone and use colours I don't usually use PINK AND BROWN.  I love looking at other peoples cards with these colours or blue and brown or yellow and brown, but for me I just couldn't pull it off! I do think I've lost my mojo whilst making this card I had all these great intentions using these colours and my great image and I feel I could have done better.
Well I'm excited on Friday I'm going to SENZ which is a large display of retail stores, classes and demonstrations for crafts so after a day there my mojo may return.  I've never been before so this year I'm off and it's only a 30 minute drive away from where I live isn't that great?  I'll report in next week letting you know that I didn't spend any money and didn't buy anything for crafting
Ya right.... Ha Ha Ha............

Congratulations to all of last weeks winners there were so many amazing creations we have some wonderful talented followers.

Our sketch this week is another one of Arlana's wonderful and new creations.  I love this one as it really shows off your design papers.

Wow where did that week go too?  Here it is Wednesday again and that means it's another
Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  I went to post my card for the week and realised that I hadn't even made it let alone ordered my image from our sponsor.  I sometimes have my cards made in advance and thought I had already made this weeks sketch.  I have heaps of DigiStamp Boutique images so grabbed one off my computer very quickly.  Later on I was looking at all of Sally-Ann's wonderful new June images and noticed that she had a freebie for June so I grabbed that to make my second card.   I tried to make my image look like a Christmas Decoration.   You can find this freebie here
We had some amazing cards and images this week using our sketch and congratulations to all our winners.
