HETTY ELEPHANT AND HER CUPCAKE


Good morning and welcome to my blog.  I'm a little late posting this week, but it's been one of those fortnights. 
Today's card is for a special little girl, my great niece, who is turning 4 on the 3rd March.  She loves animals, and it has four candles on the cupcake, which is totally perfect. 

Here's a little look at the inside of the card.

1. Base: White French Linen card stock.
2. Coloured card used: American Craft Lipstick and white card.
3. Design Papers: Gingham Pink Digital Paper, Plaid 

4. Imafe Hetty Elephant and her cupcake by DigiStamp Boutique


5. Colour Medium: Copics, Black & White Gel pens.

6. Sentiment: Happy Birthday by Polkadoodles and a number 4 die.


7. Embellishments: White satin ribbon and pearls from my stash.


8. Dies & Punches Used: Spellbinders Classic Circles Large & Small
Unbanded Circle Die and Labels, Martha Stewart Lace Punch.

    Kathie... such a wonderful and adorable birthday card for your great niece. Love that you created four candles on the cupcake. It is die week here at Just Us Girls featuring hearts. I do see a small die-cut heart inside; next time, it would be great if the heart were on the front of the card. Come again, we love seeing beautiful cards in the gallery.

      Hi Elizabeth many thanks for your comment. The candles were already on this image that's why I thought it was perfect for her 4th birthday. Please correct me if I'm wrong, isn't the back ground of the image a pink die cut, the sentiment and it's backing a die cut, the number 4 above the sentiments a die cut and the number 4 in the card, the heart and the Happy Birthday inside the card also a die cut.
