BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES

Good morning, and welcome to my blog.  I've woken up to a beautiful morning; the sky is blue, the sun is shining, and the birds are all out singing. 

Today I have another sketch for

When I designed this sketch last year, I had in mind that you could use all the design paper, since some of it would fit together perfectly.  I tried to do this here, but in the end I wanted to colour a beautiful butterfly. This isn't a hard sketch; it looks harder than it is.  As long as you get your pieces in order, you'll be fine.  Also, it's a great way to use up some of the scrap design papers which we all have and hoard.

4. Image: This is a rubber stamp I've had for years bought at a garage sale, and is now starting to perish.

5. Colour Medium: Copic Ciao markers.

6. Finishing Touch: The vase or mason jar was coated with Glossy Accents. 

 

7. Dies Used: Spellbinders Large and Small Rectangles.

9. Embellishments: Small black gems and black satin ribbon for the bow all from my stash.

Good morning and welcome to my blog.  Thanks so much for visiting.  Today I have a card for DigiChoosday Polkadoodles.  Our theme this fortnight is Friendship.   What does friendship mean to you?  To me, it means lifelong bonds across many years & countries, choice, trust, sharing, support, and helping each other in good times and bad.  Just being there for each other.  Special friends.

4. Image: Digital image from Polkadoodles DLPD9955 Bee Buzzy Flower Set. I added an extra flower to make three; you can do the same with PNG images.  This set is brilliant as it has 7 different black & white images to use.

5. Colour Medium: Copic Ciao C1, RV13, RV14, RV10, YG00, YG03, YG63, Y15 and Y28.

6. Dies Used: Spellbinders Petite Ovals Large and Lace Ovals Large:

SPARKLE UNICORN

 Isn't this little Unicorn the cutest? I'm usually a flower girl.  But I had so much fun colouring this very cute Polkadoodles image.  Not only was it fun, but look at those colours one of my very favourite combinations.   This card is made for my great-niece.   She loves unicorns, but she told me she knows they aren't real.  She's only 4.5 years old.  Nikky has so many brilliant images and design papers to choose from; you'll be spoilt for choice.
