Flower

Hello and welcome to my blog.  I'm so sorry that my card is late this week, it was made but I haven't had the time to post it so it's finally appearing.  This week over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 we are showcasing Sketch #146 and I hope you can all join in.

Here's another view of my card.

Sketch #146
when I created this sketch the background looked like patchwork paper.  My teammates have created their cards by using up scrap pieces of paper which we all have and don't know what to do with.

Little Blue Button is our wonderful sponsor for this challenge and here is a little bit about them:

Little Blue Button Stamps started its life in December 2012 as free digital stamps company "Digital designs by Olga".  Later in spring 2013, it was reborn as Little Blue Button Stamps and first Design Team started its work.  In the summer of 2013, we started to produce rubber stamps which were pressed and packed by C.C.Designs company. In Fall 2014 we started to release clear stamps but due to some problems in my life, I had to shut down both clear and rubber and continue with digital stamps only.  Now I continue to create designs for digital stamps and printable by LBBS and clear stamps for Russian store by Tamara Startseva.

Don't forget to check out the design over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and see what they created using Little Blue Button Stamps.

Happy 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary

Good morning and welcome to my 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary Card today.

Last Thursday week ago my husband and I flew to Nelson in the South Island of New Zealand to celebrate my cousins 50th Wedding Anniversary.  I attended their wedding yes 50 years ago and I was the little girl giving her a horseshoe.
My cousin is only 66, yes she was a child bride and was only 16 years old when she got married and her husband was 20.  They were told by family and friends that they were far too young and that their marriage would never last.  Three grown-up children later all very happily married and they have nine grandchildren.  It's so lovely to see that this marriage did last with two people so young but totally in love.  So it was a surprise as she didn't know that we were going down as her husband and daughter had arranged it all and boy was it a surprise she was totally speechless.  We had an amazing 5 days away and the weather for early spring was sensational.

Here's my special Golden Anniversary card for the special couple.  I do hope you like it.
