21 today oh how I do wish I was 21 again..............
Yes it's my birthday today and only 25 days until Christmas and only three presents bought.
Oh I do hate my birthday being so close to Christmas, people have other things on their mind without worrying about your birthday.  I have cousin born on 25th December, my brother on 30th December and 3 friends born on New Years day.  There are 365 days in a year why couldn't our parents be more considerite and our birthday's be in the other 10 months of the year???  I guess that wasn't on their minds at the time.

Today is Wednesday my favourite day of the week and of course it's
Congratulations to our winner this week and our top 3 great work ladies.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch #129-33

Wow here it is 23rd November already and only one week to go until my birthday yes I was born on a Wednesday as well.  My mother always reminded my brothers and sisters the days of the week that we were born.  It was one way to teach us the days of the week.  I don't know how she kept track as I'm the youngest of 7 and my eldest brother turns 70 at the end of next month, his birthday is 30th December but we are celebrating on New Year's Eve.

Mum recited this poem to us as little children.

Mondays child is fair of face,
Tuesdays child is full of grace,
Wednesdays child is full of woe,
Thursdays child has far to go,
Fridays child is loving and giving,
Saturdays child works hard for his living,
And the child that is born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay.

The reason why this came to mind is because I was designing Gary's birthday invites and I wanted to see what day he was born on "He's born on a Tuesday" I wondered if mum wanted a child born on each day of the week seeing there is 7 of us?  I'll never know.  But when I worked it out and put the dates in the computer YES we were all born on different days of the week pretty spooky as that wouldn't have been planned in those days.

Lenny Thank You Freebie

Good morning to everyone.  Wednesday's seem to get faster every week, it's because time is flying by with me and we only have 6.5 weeks until Christmas.  I have only one present purchased and I haven't made my traditional Christmas fruit cake yet.  I seem to be getting slacker and slower each year.
I know that my best friend will have her Christmas Tree up and the house decorated during November ready for the
1st December as she is very traditional and just adores Christmas.

Congratulations to our winner this week and to our Top 3 there were so many amazing creations we were spoilt for choice.
