Good afternoon here it is Monday afternoon the weekend has flown by and I didn't have time to make one card. Both my boys played Soccer on Saturday and they both had a win two very happy boys on Saturday afternoon. Visitors for lunch on Saturday and visitors for lunch on Sunday, so as you can see with house work and Soccer fields I didn't have much time for crafting. I sat down this morning when I should have been making beds and doing the washing I made my card instead. This is my take on another wonderful sketch from Arlana from Sweet Sketch Wednesday. Card Recipe:

  • White SU for the base of my card
  • Purple Bazzill

  • Image is Lilly from Digistamp Boutique this is one of my very first digi images I ever purchased. Lilly has be coloured with copic markers.
  • Sentiment: PC generated using Peggy Font
  • Embellishments: Lace, ribbon, gems, pearls in her hair and dress, flowers from my stash
  • Cuttlebug, Nestabilities Circle, Scalloped Circle, Classic Oval, and Labels.

Lilybean Fairy #2 I love Digi Challenge #5

Lilybean Fairy #2
Good morning here it is Friday morning already, boy it comes around quickly and as you get older I think it comes quicker. I made this card last night for a new challenge I found on someones blog and it's I Love Digi do I what!!! ??? I love digi images and papers so thought this challenge would be just right for me. Then I had to search my computer and my scraps for papers to match my image. One of these days I do it the other way round, find the papers first then colour my image.LOL I'll learn. Here's my take on Dawny's sketch.

Card Recipe:

  • White SU card for the base
  • Blue paper from Summertime Designs she has some amazing papers
  • Patterned Umbrella paper is from The Creative Cottage Come Rain or Shine Kit
  • The yellow gingham paper I down loaded some time ago but didn't name it in my computer, all I can tell you is there is about 16 colours in the set and it's called Gingham Paper Set. If anyone knows can you please tell me know so that put the name in my postings.
  • The image is another of the Lilybean Fairies from Pollycraft there are 6 images in the set and this one is coloured with Copic Markers.
  • Sponged with Yellow Versa Ink
  • Gems and Flowers from my stash.

Thank you for looking at my posting and have a great weekend.

Lilybean Fairy

Lilybean Fairy
Good morning another lovely day here in New Zealand, I do hope that everyone in the UK and Europe are OK, especially with the ash coming down. I know what it's like about 15 years ago in New Zealand when one of our Mountain's erupted and we are between 4 - 5 hours drive away, but our cars still go ash on them whilst parked in our driveways. Flights out of New Zealand are only to America, Australia and the Asia Pacific at present nothing any further.
Today my card is for two challenges the first for Stamp Something Challenge being Layered and the other is for Sunday Sketch & Stamp challenge # 26 and it's their 1st Birthday. My card is a take on Sketch # 17 of Arianne which I love. So Happy Birthday Sunday Sketch & Stamp.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday #45 ' TULIPS'

'TULIPS'

Good morning everyone and we have another wonderful morning here in New Zealand. Well the boys and I are off to have a few Luge rides down a mountain. Unfortunately my dear hubby can't make it as he is really busy at work.
Firstly I would like to thank Arlana from Sweet Sketch Wednesday for such a wonderful sketch. As soon as I saw the sketch I new what Image I was going to use. This is one of the images I coloured whilst at the beach house over the Easter break. All I had to do was match my papers which I knew I would have these colours. While I was looking I came across the Purple and Olive Green variegated paper I bought about two years ago for a card and have never used it, as you do. Well I've got the right design and colours for this paper. I must say this card went together so easily and quick and I am so happy with the finished product I think it looks really pretty, even if I say so myself.
Card Recipe.
  • White SU card for the base
  • Purple and Olive Green Bazzill
  • Mauve and White stripped paper from Craft Creations, Olive Green and White patterned paper from Magnolia and the wonderful Olive Green and Purple variegated shimmer paper I know was American sorry I don't know the brand.
  • The image is Tulip Bowl from our wonderfully talented Chris Dark at Sketching Stamper. Chris I just love your images to colour. Tulip's coloured with Copic's and a White Glaze pen.
  • Cuttlebug and Nestabilities Classic Circle and Scalloped Circle.
  • Lace cut with lace template unaware of the brand and I have used the Olive Green and Purple variegated paper for this.
  • Ribbon and Gems from my stash.
Thank you so much for looking and I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. My boys are having their first game of Soccer for the season.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday #44 'Fuchsia's'

FUCHSIA'S
Good morning yes another wonder Autumn day here in New Zealand, the sun is shinning it's very warm. It won't be long before I'm telling you that it's cold and wet and I'll be moaning about the winter. I'm a Spring and Summer person and I don't like the rain. We are very lucky where we live it's not cold enough to snow, but I only have to travel 10 minutes to New Zealand's largest river, 45 minutes to our beach house and about 4 hours to the mountains skiing. We have it all at our back door and still my boys don't know what they want to do today, as they are on two weeks school holidays. If they don't make up their minds soon I could be tempted to stay at home making cards for the day!!!LOL
Today's card is for the Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch challenge, I must say if you haven't visited this site it's well worth having a look, as they ladies have some wonderful sketches for you to participate in . Anyway here's my take on this weeks sketch.

Card Recipe
  • White SU stock for the base.
  • Purple, Hot Pink and Green paper from Craft Creations.
  • Image is from the wonderful Chris Dark at Sketching Stamper If you haven't had a look at Chris's shop and site your really missing out, her drawings are wonderful and so easy to use, and just go for a wonder through her site Chris makes the most amazing cards, she such a talented lady. If you have a look at some of my older postings you will see some other images of used of Chris's, her Sweet Pea's are my favourite. My image is colour with Copic's.

Colour Create Challenge #42 Lilac, Grey and White

My Take on Lilac, Grey and White
Good morning everyone and what a beautiful Saturday Autumn morning it is here in New Zealand there isn't a cloud in the sky, too good to be sitting inside at my computer. Easter weekend I was at our beach house and rather than making any cards I decided just to colour some images which I thought I could use at a latter date, depending on the image and it's good practice for me especially using my new Copic's and yes I did make a couple of cards. I'm still trying to get the blending of colours together like I should. This image is one of my very favourite images from Chris Dark at Sketching Stamper. Sweet pea's are one of my very very favourite flowers as my dad always grew them for my mum in the spring and there are so many wonderful colours to choose. Did you know that most of the Sweet pea seeds for Sale in England and Europe are grown here in New Zealand in Gisborne and then exported to England.

Close up of my image

Inspiration Photo

Card Recipe

  • Base of card White SU stock
  • Silver grey and Lilac metallic papers
  • Gingham paper is by Beary Patch Basic Backgrounds Grapebeary
  • Cuttlebug, Divine Swirls embossing folder
  • Ribbon and gems from my stash
  • Bow made using my Bow Easy
  • White glaze pen

I look at the photo and unfortunately the Lilac paper hasn't come out in colour as well as real life, because the Lilac paper and the Gingham paper were a perfect match. I do hope you enjoy these Sweet pea's as much as I do. Take care have a great weekend and many thanks for looking.
