'Under the Weather'.
Good morning another lovely morning here in New Zealand the sun is out and it's still very warm it rained over night but we need the rain for our gardens. Oh well if it rains today that's my excuse to stay inside and craft instead. This card is for two challenges Sketch Saturday Week #98 and Secret Crafter Challenge #78 Get Well.
Card Recipe:
  • White SU for the card base
  • Aqua paper by Craft Creations

It has rain drops and umbrella's all over it, they are hard to see on this card and the teal gingham paper is also a digi download which I got some time ago but can't remember where I got it from.
  • This lovely cute image is from Digi Stamp Osais and it's "Susie Squirrel In the Rain". Susie has been coloured with Copic Ciao and a Dark Blue gel glitter pen for the rain.
  • Wording is PC generated Peggy Font.
  • Gingham flowers cut with Olivia font cuttlebug and the ribbon, gems and yellow flowers from my stash.

Hope everyone enjoys there week and weekend and thanks for looking.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge # 49

Happy 13th Birthday Dude!!!
Well when I got back from Skiing on Monday and read this Challenge I new I could handle this one as there are mostly boys and men in my extened family and we are very limited on the female sex. I have two sons 8 and 10 and I always seem to be making male birthday cards for the numerous parties they go to. Alfie's sunglasses have been filled in with Glass Coat to make them stand out and look like Sunglasses.
Card Recipe:
Card Stock: White card stock for the base, navy blue and orange Bazzill.
Design Paper: Bought some this ago both are Scrapbook Wall in stripes and squares
Image: Cool Alfie by Digi Stamp Boutique
Colour Medium: Water Colour Pencils, and Black and White Gel Pens
Embellishments: Ribbon, Round paper curl and brads from my stash
Sentiment: PC generated Boyz R Gross
Tools: Water Brush, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Circle and Classic Scalloped Circle, Blue Ink pad, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder Traffic Jam, Piece Sign from Hippie Chick font from Cuttlebug.
I've enjoyed looking at all the other male birthday cards and hope there are more masculine challenges to come.
Take care and have a great week.
