Fancy Sunbonnets With Flowers Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch #65

Fancy Sunbonnets With Flowers

Good morning it's a really Sweet Wednesday morning for me 1st September and it's the first day of Spring here in New Zealand down in the Southern Hemisphere!!! I'm so looking forward to summer. My eldest son just 11 is on a School Camp this week skiing about a 4 hour drive from our home. The weather is delightful for spring skiing 15cm of new snow in the last 4 days what more would he want?

I was delighted that our design team would be using Bugaboo Stamps this week. We all had to choose an image and I think everyone chose a different image but there is an amazing selection to choose from.
As soon as I saw this image which is
Fancy Sunbonnets With Flowers

I knew that was the image I would use to go with this weeks sketch. This image brings back childhood memeories of Holly Hobbie which I collected when I was about 8 years old. I still have a vase that my older sister gave me when I was about 9 with Holly Hobbie on it and ther verse reads
"The Time To Be Happy Is Now"

This week we have another wonderul sketch which our very talented Arlana designed. It's an amazing sketch to work with I loved it and it was perrrrfect with my image.

This week our Sponsor is Jodi from Bugaboo Stamps
Jodi is offering the lucky winner
of this week challenge
7 Digi Stamp Valued at $21.00
I really wish that was me!!!

Get cracking and get your cards made you've got to be in to win!!! I can't wait to visit all of your blogs.
Don't forget to pop over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday to check out what the rest of the team have been up to with their Bugaboo Images you won't be disappointed.

Great card Kathie, thanks for the tip on the black, must try that out too. I had publish post instead of save when I finished so the poor scheduler didn't even get a chance! LOL!! Oh well. Love the image, bugaboo images rock!

Love the sunbonnets collection - they are just SO adorable! The purple and green together are lovely, I really have to keep this color combo in the back of my head so I can use it sometime.

Kathie, I just adore this little Holly Hobby! I almost chose one of those images but I figured she would be a hot item with everyone wanting to create with her. I love lavender and green together so this just couldn't be any cuter! Your eyelet lace and ribbon and flower add the perfect accents along with your brads! Love the three rows of scallops! Sweet Card!
