Take Me Away
Good morning everyone today is the 1st June and that means it's the first day of Winter here in New Zealand and Sweet Sketch Wednesday. They said on the news last night that April and May were our hottest Autumn months ever recorded in history and it has been very warm. I think today the weatherman knew it was the first day of June and the temperature has dropped a little as I'm feeling it this morning. This weekend it's a long weekend to celebrate the Queen's Birthday Weekend, I'm so looking forward to it as I'll have both my boys home this weekend. Liam thought that last weekend he was being big and mature and wanted to stay at Boarding School for the weekend, I was a little upset but knew that he had to try it for himself. He thoroughly enjoyed himself but we have all missed him so much, I also think that this week will be a long one for him being away for a fortnight from us, when I spoke to him last night he was missing us and couldn't wait to come home this weekend.
Congratulations to all out winner this week there were some awesome cards with just so much details and creativeness.

Base: White SU
Papers and Card: Silver Paper from Rosies Studios, Silver Corrugated Card Board. Blue Bazzill
Design Papers: One Heart One Mind and used both sides.
Image: Take Me Away from Tiddlyinks
Colour Medium: Copics, atyou Spica, in silver and black, blue glitter gel pen.
Silver and Blue ink sponge for the edges.
Tools: Corner rounder, pop dots, glue dot.
Embellishments: Instead of using paper for my green strips in the sketch across the top and bottom of the page I found this awesome ribbon that was sheer and had circles of blue and silver I knew this would work perfectly with my image and paper I was using. My embellishments are meant to be bubbles cut out of glitter card and the pink flowers are from my stash and they are meant to match the flowers in her hair.
Wishing everyone a wonderful week of crafting and a great weekend.
