Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch #143

Sponsor
Doodle Pantry

***Happy Leap Day Everyone***

Wow what a week don't they say if it doesn't rain it pours?
I had a call from my son last Tuesday evening saying he had hurt his arm he was playing on a scooter at school, did a jump and fell off.  Went to the school nurse and thought it was badly bruised.  On the Wednesday I went to his school swimming sports, he's a swimmer and was really looking forward for this day to come.  He won most of his heats but his times were slower than normal and that evening he practised water polo, at one stage I saw him sitting on the edge of the pool favouring his arm.  So I took him to A & E and then on to X-Ray and found out it was broken and he had been swimming all day with a broken arm, he didn't want to tell me because he wanted to swim.......Don't you just love them.....
A cast was put on Wednesday evening and he went back on the Friday evening to check that the swelling had gone down and to get a waterproof cast on as he and my dear hubby were on school camp on the Sunday morning.  Number 2 son was also on camp this week so I had to start packing for all three which was a mission and a half as well as a large container of home baking.  Summer, winter, wet weather and thermal gear had to be packed as the climate can change within minutes on the mountain, it was never ending.
Liam and William have gone to the middle of the North Island for school camp they are doing The Tongariro Alpine Crossing,  Abseiling, Tramping, Kayaking, White Water Rafting, Mountain Biking, Camping out over night and the Hot Thermal Pools.

Mount Tongariro
Summer
Winter

The Creator Lake

My youngest son is at Lake Taupo also on camp.
Lake Taupo
The middle mountain is Mt Tongariro  the boys are about 100km down the road from each other.  Lake Taupo is a Volcanic Lake and is situated in the middle of the North Island of New Zealand.
Ryan's group was meant to be Kayaking today.

Well today is Sweet Sketch Wednesday and congratulations to our winner and our top 3 great cards everyone.

Arlana has this most awesome sketch I just couldn't wait to make my card and soon as I got my image I had to make it, my card has been made for weeks in advance.

Everything That You Ever Wanted to Know About Bugaboo Stamps: As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing! From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects. Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch #141

Sponsor
DigiStamp Boutique

Hi everyone today is 15 February the day after Valentine's Day and I thought I would make my dear hubby a Masculine Valentine's Card and by looking at my masculine card you can see that I completely lost my Mojo.  I had plans to try different colours this year and I love seeing other artists using Pink and Chocolate together and their cards always turn out so pretty.  Pink and Brown are really not my colours and the funny thing is they are two colours together that I definitely wouldn't wear in the way of clothing either.   But isn't this such a cute image from DigiStamp Boutique there is a set of them call
"The Prickles" there's Ma, Pa and Benson very cute.

Re our rules at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  We would love you to use our sponsors images but if you don't have one you can use what you have on your crafting table.  If you are unsure go to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and check out our rules.

Thanks for dropping buy I love reading your comments and answering your emails.  I've had some lovely questions asking me where I get my blog headers from, 99% of the time they are from photo's I've taken and this month it's another photo of our pond on a rainy day, last Friday it a different view from last time and it  doesn't show the bridge from this shot as I was standing on it and our bridge is covered in greenery as the Wisteria has stopped flowering at this time of year.

Take care and have a lovely week.
