Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch #160

Stella "Another Drink"

Welcome everyone here it is another wonderful Wednesday and my boys are home for their 3 week school holiday break.  It's so nice having them home and being able to do things together.

Today is my Anniversary with Sweet Sketch Wednesday, I've been on the design team for 2 years this week and the funny part about it is, is that BUGABOO DIGI STAMPS were our sponsor on my first week on the design team.

Sketch #56 for Sweet Sketch Wednesday
30th June 2010
Here is my card I made for Sketch # 56 on Wednesday 30th June 2010.  I had been entering into SSW each week for some time and I was so excited and proud that I had been chosen for this amazing Design Team and we couldn't do it without Arlana,  Nancy and Judi you are all such amazing sisters and thanks so much for including me into your great team.

Congratulations to our winner and our Top 3 cards, what wonderful work ladies, so many great images, colours, design papers and embellishments.

This week we have another wonderful sketch by Arlana and I know you'll love this one as much as I did.

Sketch #160

Here's my card using Stella and Another Drink.
Don't you just love this image.  I had so much fun making my card.  My brother asked me to make a card for a 70th birthday party him and his wife are going too.  I've never met the lady so I'm unsure if she may take offence at this image.  She's a friend of my brother so I feel that she'll have a
sense of humour just like him.

This week our sponsor is
BUGABOO DIGI STAMPS

Here's a note from Jodie the owner of
Bugaboo

Everything That You Ever Wanted to Know About Bugaboo Stamps: As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. TodayBugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing! From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects. Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!

If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps stamps at Totally Stampalicious. And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug.

You can catch the Bug here:

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch #159

Image: Coffee Break

Welcome everyone to another wonderful Wednesday.  I'm sitting here typing up my posting and my nose and finger tips are icy cold.  We're currently having frosty mornings but today it's rained over night here in New Zealand which you've got to expect for this time of year.
My boys finish school on Friday or after their sports on Saturday for a 3 week break.   Both boys lost their Soccer games on Saturday but Liam won his Water Polo game 13-O which was a great result.  Their team is doing so well this year they have only lost 1 game and only by 1 goal difference. I'm so proud of them all as this team have come such a long way  after starting out not one of them had played a Water Polo game before and now have been playing together for the last
18 months .

Wonderful Wednesday means it's another
Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  Congratulations to our winner and to our top 3 cards from last week, awesome work ladies.

This week Arlana
has another great sketch for you to work with.  I know you'll like this one as it goes together so quickly and shows off those lovely design papers.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch #157

Sponsor Saturated Canary
Image: Let It Rain

Wow what a week I'm back after being in Australia on a business trip and conference where it was a little warmer over there than it is here.  Today in parts of the South Island it's snowing thank goodness I live in the North Island.
My computer was in for repairs whilst I was away and took longer than I thought it would, it's back now but it just doesn't feel the same, it's like learning to ride a bike again.  What would we do if we didn't have our computers?  We wouldn't be sending emails or blogging and using Google I would be totally lost.

Today is Wednesday and that means it's the start of the week for the Sweet Sketch Wednesday team.  Congratulations to our winners from last week there are so many very talented ladies out there and your work is beautiful.  This week we have a new sketch for our followers to play with.

Sketch # 157

Here is my card using Sketch #157 and my image is
Let It Rain from Saturated Canary.
I've loved this image for ages and have been so wanting to make a card with it,
I'm so glad I've got the right Sketch for this wonderful image and I'm really pleased how this card turned out.

This week our Sponsor is Krista Smith the owner and illustrator
of
Saturated Canary
My name is Krista Smith. I am the artist behind the Etsy shop, Saturated Canary Digis. I began working in the stamping world about a year ago when I was hired to create rubber designs for the sweet Scottish company, Sugar Nellie. They launched my artwork under the name 'Simply Sassy.' I moved into the digital world just this past month (it's been a super busy month, indeed!). And-- I love it!! There is a little more freedom here, as I can create anything that pops into my head:)! I am so humbled by the artistic talent of the girls coloring in my designs-- it is truly an inspiration! Likewise, I am so thankful for the friendships I've made in this wonderful and lovely crafty community! It's been a true delight! I'd love for you to stop by my challenge/inspiration blog, Saturated Canary Challenge and join in the fun...And, while you're there, click over to my personal blog (Saturated Canary) and introduce yourself! I am a bit eclectic and touch on everything from family (I've got me a great one!) to fashion (obsessed!)...Please say 'hi!'...I'd love to be friends!:)

Krista is offering our very lucky winner
2 free digi's from her online shop.
My problem is I can never make up my mind to which image I want as I want them all.

Please note this is a new shop Link:
