Sketchy Candle

Good morning and welcome to my blog.
It's a beautiful spring morning here in New Zealand and it's countdown here before we leave on our trip and I think I'm going to have to start writing a list as I know I'll forget something that has to be done before we leave.

I'm sharing a photo of a vase of Sweet Peas I grew myself from seeds and nurtured to be able to pick this lovely vase on Saturday morning.  I just adore their colours and perfume.  They bring back childhood memories of my Dad always growing them for my Mum who also adored them.

Congratulations to this weeks winner they were lovely cards, great work everyone.
Now onto this weeks sketch which I love and is really easy and goes together very quickly.  I rotated it this week to fit my image by 90 degrees to the left and as you've seen the finished result.

Sketch #75

Hello Kathie, Loving this beautiful candle Christmas card! The Star is a perfect embellishment and the glossy accents on the holly makes it look so real. Hope all is well on your home front! It so hard to believe that another year is about to end! Seems like the days pass so quickly. I envy your warm weather...guess I need to fly south! Have a great day!

Great card Kathie, love the papers, the candle's fab and what a lovely sentiment!
So there you are going into spring with lovely warm weather, you lucky thing, where as here at my end of old blighty it's blowing a gale, it's not too cold but the wind is whipping round, we nipped out this morning before it started and ended up getting wet through, now it doesn't seem to know when to stop! roll on spring for us too.

This is just so elegant Kathie and the sentiment you have used is just perfect, I may have to borrow it :-).A gorgeous creation. The sweet peas are gorgeous too, They remind me of my dad too, I didn't grow any annual ones this year and missed their lovely fragrance in the house.
