School holiday break and ANZAC Day here in New Zealand on Monday. Yes the boys are on a two week holiday break at present and start back for Term 2 at the beginning of May. Monday 25th April was ANZAC Day where we remember all of the soldiers the went to war for New Zealand, it's observed on 25th April each year and ANZAC Day was originally to honour the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who fought at Gallipoli against the Ottoman Empire during World War I.
We wear a Red Poppy as a symbol of war remembrance.
Another fortnight has passed and I visited some lovely sites to comment on your wonderful cards.

Kathie, your card is amazing. Thanks for explaining the history - better than I received in school. Enjoy the time with your boys!!!!
Pretty card Kathie. Thanks for joining us at MAWTT. Zx
This is so pretty! I love the clean green and white color palette and those doilies are simply GORGEOUS! Happy ANZAC Day. Enjoy a biscuit for me and enjoy your boys at home for their break.
Thanks for the history reminder.
Thanks also for the details of your card. The pearl buckle is so pretty - and so is the whole card. I especially like the lovely daisies and the spattered look behind them - not sure how you did that. We are glad you entered the Eureka Stamps challenge (add some bling) this week.
