In The Pink

I'm so excited to tell you this week I'm been asked to be the guest designer over at the
Crafty Boots Challenge
which I'm honoured about.
This fortnight their challenge theme is
In The Pink
for Breast Cancer Awareness.

In New Zealand it's Pink October for Breast Cancer Awareness and in November is Blue November for Prostrate Cancer and on the last Friday in August we have Daffodil Day.  I remember this well as my oldest son was born on a Daffodil Day.

This card is a tribute to my sister who past away earlier this year with Lung Cancer.  I can see her now laughing at Stella, and after Radiation and Chemotherapy my sister lost her crown and glory of beautiful dark brown hair and it grew back grey with very tight curls.

So I do hope Stella and her bra and boobs makes everyone smile.

If you look closely you'll see that there are boobs in the bra as they have been mounted with double sided foam tape.

Peekaboo Xmas Boy

Good morning and welcome to my blog.  The school holiday break has ended and the boys are now back at school for the last term of the year.  My eldest tells me he only has 4 weeks at school and then he's finished for the year as he'll be on study leave when his exams start in November.  How wonderful to be at school again and always on holiday or breaks or leave weekends.
This past week I've had a few issues with Blogger, all of my links in my sidebar are missing, I'm not the only person it's happening too, but it is annoying and they say they will return shortly I want to know how long is shortly is it as long as a piece of string? Is this happening to you and have you had problems with Blogger?  All my photo's were missing the other morning but they were back in 24 hours.

This week we have a new sketch but firstly I would like to congratulate our winner from last week.  This week is our
100th Sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and Anne has a little giveaway for our lucky winner.
