FOXGLOVES DIGITALIS

Good morning and welcome to my blog. It's the middle of June, with only 6 months and 7 days to go until Christmas Day again.  This morning, I have another new sketch and card for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

Foxgloves are such beautiful flowers.  Late Spring, early summer in Queenstown and the Southern Alps of  New Zealand, the roadsides are covered with beautiful Foxgloves and with an amazing array of colours.

They are biannuals; in the first year, they grow the stalk, and in the second year, they have flowers.
They are highly poisonous, the leaves, flowers, seeds, and even the water they can sit in.  Ingestion can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, blurred vision, and in severe cases, death.
I still love these flowers.

Sketch #305
Here's a quick peek at the inside of my card.

Don't forget to drop by Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and see what our design team have been up to and check out their wonderful work.

Challenges I'm Entering:

1. Base: Kraft card stock.
2. Coloured Card: Bazill Rain Forest and Pear
3. Design Papers: Trim Craft Botanical Notes 6x6

4. Image: Digital Download from my computer.

5. Colour Medium: Copics
6. Tools Used:

7. Dies Used: Spellbinders Classic large Rectangles and Circles.

8. Embellishments: Ribbon and Card Candi from my stash.
9. Inside and on the back of the card.

Take care, everyone and happy crafting.

Absolutely beautiful, one of my favourite flowers as well and we have many in our gardens. Perfect backing PD to se the image off as well.

Whilst it's lovely to see you at WLS, unfortunately colouring books/pages are not eligible due to possible Copyright infringement.

Your foxgloves are absolutely beautiful, I used to have some like these but had to pull them out as the cats kept getting into them, anyhow, a beautifully designed card!
