Papertake Weekly Sketch #33

Welcome to another lovely summers morning, the sun is out and we're heading to the beach house for the weekend before the boys start back at school on Tuesday after their summer's vacation. 6 Weeks holiday and my boys are now ready to go back to school.

I just love this sketch Dawny and I will be using it again it looks so good and not too over crowded. Here's my take on this sketch #33 at Papertake Weekly, hope you like it thanks for dropping by and have a great weekend.

Base: White SU Card

Coloured Papers: Dark Red Bazzill, Apple Green paper and the Apple Green and White paper from Magnolia.

Sentiment: PC generated font PeggyFont mounted on pop dots.

Embellishments: Tulle ribbon, net ribbon and gems from my stash.

Just add INK Challenge JAI1
Good afternoon everyone, well it's my first time to enter a challenge that is just starting out. Congratulations Jut add Ink. Just add Ink is a new and exciting challenge blog that is down under in the Southern Hemisphere with Australia and New Zealand. So if you have a moment, sit down with a cuppa and have a look at this new Challenge Blog you might like to give it a go. This week is a colour challenge and here are the colours, I've attempted them on this card but they aren't colours I would normally put together but I am happy with the outcome.

Card base white SU card stock.

Chocolate and Saffron are from Creations.

The Teal and Rose patterned paper is from Magnolia.

Image is from Digistamp Boutique and this is Alexa 'Shop Til You Drop' and she is coloured with Copic Markers.

Lace cut with Cuttlebug, using a lace plate.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday #33

Sketch #33

Good evening everyone, well another lovely summers day is over here in New Zealand. It wasn't as hot today as it has been and this evening we had a much needed shower of rain our garden was badly in need of. I've made my card using Digi Stamp Boutique images which I just love they remind me of summer and all the lovely flowers out in bloom.

Card Recipe

White SU card base, Yellow Bazzill, Orange Paper from Creations, Apple Green and Striped paper from Magnolia.

The images are from Digi Stamp Boutique Flower In Garden, Single Flower, Flowers In Water and Bunch of Flowers. I've down sized three of the images and used them as the three tiles in order in which they would have been picked. These images are coloured with Copic's. The tiles and the main image were mounted with foam dots.

Apple green tulle ribbon from my stash. The sentiment is embossed from a Cuttlebug embossing set Love and cut out using nestabilities tag.

Stamp Something 'Funny Something Challenge'

RELAXING

Good evening everyone, well when saw what the Challenge for this week was I new exactly which card I would use. Because every time I look at this card it makes me smile. I had made this card in the New Year but hadn't taken any photo's of it, I had even forgotten that I made it until I was tiding up yesterday on my craft table. This is what I call "Summer" and that's what we are having here in New Zealand long hot days and lovely warm evenings and many days at our beach house having a wine and BBQ or two!!!

Card Recipe.

White SU card for the base card,lilac and pink papers from Creations, Mauve Bazzill and Bling Hot Pink Corrugated Cardboard.

Image is from Wendy at Digital Delights Cool Cat, coloured with Copic Markers and dark blue glitter gel pen.

Embellishments are from my stash, flowers, flat backed pearls, ribbon and gems for the Jandals.

Sentiment is PC generated using HAN SOLO font.

The ice in the cocktail and the Cat's glasses have been coated with Glass Coat for a 3D effect and shine.

I do hope you like my cat and I hope it makes you smile too.

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #42 Friendship

Colours Black, White and Silver!

Hi everyone here it is Friday afternoon and the weekend is approaching very quickly. I've got a couple of boys birthday cards to make this afternoon as we know two brothers and their birthday's are a day apart any excuse for a BBQ. Here's my take on Black, White and Silver which looks really elegant together.

Card Recipe:

White SU card for the base and black paper out of my stash.

The design paper is Daisy Bucket designs, Little Black Dress, Dinner with Friends.

The frame was cut from Silver paper from Rosie's Studio using Label's 1 from Nestabilities.

I then cut it out again from Chip Board and stuck the Silver frame onto it. I mounted it with foam double sided tape to give a 3D effect. Scroll cut from Bosskut Scroll.

Special Friends stamped with a stamp I've had for many years not sure what band it is.

Gems mounted on bottom right hand corner and in Scroll and top right hand corner.

Gems and ribbon from my stash.

The photo doesn't do the card justice it looks really pretty.

Pretty In Pink

Welcome everyone to 2010, it's nearly two months I entered a challenge. It's summer in New Zealand and I'm really making the most of it at our Beach House with my family. The boys have been on summer vacation for 6 weeks and it's been really hot and sunny.
Well this really makes a change for me being able to enter into three challenges with the one card, Cupcake Challenge # 74 Sketch, Papertake Weekly Pretty Pink Papertake and DU2Digi Stamp Challenge #29 Buttons with the one card, this is first for me and hopefully won't be a last.

Coloured with Copic Ciao Markers.
Cuttlebug embossing folder Bloom Dots, ribbon and buttons from my stash and the lace on Alexa's dress is coated with Kindy Glitz Crystalina which looks really pretty but doesn't show up that well in the photo. Circle and Scalloped Circle Nestabilities.
