Ribbit, Ribbet Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch # 63

"Ribbit Ribbet here's Bob and Benji "

Welcome Sweet Sketch Wednesday lovers here it is another wonderful Wednesday and in my neck of the woods its raining again. Yes again!!! Roll on summer! It's the first day on Spring on the 1st September and I can't wait and that means Day Light Savings starts in late September more day light than dark. I shouldn't complain too much as it's still winter here and last night we didn't need any heating in the house it was quite warm.

Sketch # 63

This week we have another wonderful sketch from our very own talented Arlana. Thanks Arlana this is a great sketch and many thanks to Judi, Arlana's sister who works so hard behind the scenes at Sweet Sketch Wednesday .

This week our Sponsor is

DigiStamp Boutique Sally-Ann from DigiStamp Boutique has kindly donated the winner of this weeks challenge

10 Digital Images of your choice

Woo Hoo!!!

Now that's worth sitting down with your crafting juices running to create an amazing card with this wonderful sketch.

If you have never visited Sally-Ann at DigiStamp Boutique what are you waiting for she has some amazing images and this week I have used Ben and Benji don't you just love them??? I've tried to create frogs sitting on a Lily Pad with Arlana's sketch I hope you can see that?

Now it's time to grab a cuppa and go and visit all of our wonderful design team at Sweet Sketch Wednesday to see what they've created for you.

CARD RECIPE

Card: Peach Bazzill for the Base and dark green bazzill for the Lily Pad. Papers: Orange and Apple Green papers from Craft Creations, Striped paper from Cloud 9 Design Fiskars, Abstract Green Snowdrops from craftco and Orange Dots from Kaisercraft Dirt Trail. Image: From DigiStamp Boutique Ben and Benji. Colour Medium: Copic Markers, Baby Blue Ink for the sky and Mountain Blue Ink for the pond water. Embellishments: Orange Flowers, Butterfly and Brads from my stash. Tools: Cuttlebug, Classic Squares, Classic Circle and Classic Circle Scalloped Edge Nestabilities, Glass Coat, Foam Pot Dots for the back of the Frogs, the Lily Pad, and Flowers. The flower's centre was coated with two layers of Glass Coat to give the card another 3D effect. It doesn't really show up in my photo.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog and all of your lovely comments are very much appreciated. I do hope everyone has a wonderful week and a great weekend.

Hugs always

Kathie

Kathie - it feels like winter here. My house is 18 C and it is really cold out - we have had a terrible summer, just terrible! My computer says it is 6 C out right now!!! (I am assuming your temp is in Celsius like us?)

Love that the flowers match perfectly to your card. I really need to find myself some "glass coat" as I love the way it looks!!

Wow Kathie they are so cute. I love this image and you've coloured them so well. It's raining here too in Ireland but sure what's new. Did get one day on the beach on Sunday. Even managed a barbecue. First one of the summer and probably last going by today's weather. Yucky!!!

Oh kathie, You always do such a wonderful job with your cards. This has to be one of my favorites of Sally Ann's images. These little frogs are just too cute. You have done a fantastic job coloring them up and I lvoe the color scheme you used. I am enjoying the weather cooling down here. Fianlly, no air conditioning on. Wionter is just around the corner. I hope you enjoy your upcoming summer.
