"SANTA'S COMING TO TOWN" Sweet Sketch Wednesday #61

"SANTA'S COMING TO TOWN"!
Good morning everyone and thanks for joining me this morning and here it is another Wednesday morning already! Where has our week gone? It isn't that long now until Christmas and I've made two Christmas cards already which is a first for me at this time of year. So I better get me skates on and start crafting!!!
As you can see we have another wonderful sketch this week at
our very own talented Arlana has come up with another amazing sketch for us to play with and here it is!!!

Card Instructions:
Card:
White SU card for the base, red and green Bazzill and gold card.
Image: My image is Delivery Time from Di's Digi Downloads.
Colour Medium: Copic Markers and a Black and White liquid embossing pen.
Embellishments: I couldn't find any Poinsettias so had to make my own embellishments. I cut 3 flowers from a Cuttlebug die with the gold cardboard the red and green silk flower I buy them white and then colour them with my Copic marker to match my colour scheme.
Tools: Cuttlebug, Red Versa ink for the edges, Snow Flake Cuttlebug Embossing folder. Nestabilities Square. Glue dots and foam Pot Dots.

Heehee! Too cute Kathie! I love that image and you colored it perfectly! I also love how bright your papers are! Those embellishments are also really great! I think our DT definitely had a theme this week!

Kathie, you've got my favorite image, a teddy all wrapped in luscious greens and reds - fabulous! I love the embossing, slightly hidden behind the layers and the ink distressing really brings it out together. The way you made your flowers is just too awesome for words - they really do stand out lovely the way you've put them together! Love the new blog look - looks SPECTACULAR!

Two cards down, how many more to go? I love the embossing on the white paper. I dont use my embossing folders enough and I am starting to put them to work since they have been gathering dust for a couple of years, ack! Thanks for the sponging tip. I really like it! Really cute card! The flowers are fabulous!

kathie I really love your traditional color scheme for your card this week and your image is just adorable. And, thopse flowers are amazing!! they really add the finishing touch to your card. Have a great week and when I get a minute I am going the get that tutorial done on the flowers. I have been working on it. I have just been extemely busy though. I had one of those murphy law days today...I am beat!!! Have a great week.

Hello Kathie, Well, I just sent you an email...but it looks to me like you have some color on your posts! But just let me know how it goes for you! Your new blog look is great... I need to change mine but it doesn't seem to be a priority! Your Christmas card is so cute. I love your inked up flowers. You remind me of Arlana. She can make anything work! I love your gold poinsetta's you made with the cricut! And the white embossing is snow wonderful! All these Christmas cards are getting me in the mood!

Awh Kathie he's stunning I couldn't decide between this image and the one I ended up using they were all so cute, had to be a Christmas one though either way! LOL!! Fantastic idea with the ponsiettas. Any chance of you coming to Ireland for Christmas?? That stamp is called Going Home if my memory serves me right. :-D
