Picture Perfect
by A Day For Daisies
Good morning it's Wednesday 25th January my boys have had 6 weeks summer vacation and this time next week they'll be back at school. Our start to our summer here in New Zealand wasn't the best when it came to the weather and the amount of wind and rain we had and now the boys are due back to school we're having wonderful hot sunny days and they'll be scorching in their school uniforms in shirts and ties.
So it's Wednesday and that means it's another wonderful
Sweet Sketch Wednesday
and welcome.

Hello Kathie,
Ive not been by for so long, I cant believe you're coming to the end of your summer school holidays already mind you, the good thing for me is that it means our Spring will soon be on its way!
I was quite captured by your card namely because I coloured up the same image three times in 3 colours at the weekend and one of them was pinks - just like yours! However, you have made a stunning card with her and mine are still languishing on my desk!
Gorgeous card and I really hope to join in with your sketch this week!
Hope you have a super week Kathie,
Keryn x
Good morning Kathie, I am in love with your beautiful card, I too love the vintage look and the way you left part of the image out of the oval at the bottom is so pretty, especially with the layer of dp behind her. Your flower and pin are so pretty, I saw a lady at the salon yesterday when getting my hair cut wearing an antique hat pin about 8 inches long in her hat, it was stunning. She said it was her aunt's originally. Time goes so fast, I am sure the boys would love to have more time off. Hope you have a great week.
hugs....
Kathie,
This is such a beautiful elegant card. The image reminds me of something from the "Silver Screen"! Perfect papers and lovely coloring.
Oh Kathie, this is a stunning card. I love how you dropped your image of the oval. It is gorgeous. You have colored her up so beautifully. You have captured such a beautiful vintage look to your card. I love your design papers and perfect little embellishments.
I hope your boys don't cook to such in the heat. That is so miserable to wear uniforms in the how summer days.
Take Care and have a wonderful week.
Hugs, Nancy
Wow Kathie, she is beautiful!!! I just love how her dress flows out of the oval, stunning.
I can't wait until our spring arrives never mind summer, I'm fed up looking at a grey sky & damp weather :( hope all is well with you.

Oh Kathie, you always do such a lovely job on the vintage images! She is absolutely stunning! I love all your elements! Your pin is a perfect embellishment to add that vintage feel! Your colors and papers couldn't be more perfect! I love how her dress flows from the oval!
Hope your boys manage in the heat. I am wishing for a little more warmth around here. But when it is too cold or too hot, I don't want to move! Have a great week!
Hugs, Judi
Such a beautiful card Kathie! That image is so royal and antiquey...okay, I guess the word is vintage now!!!!! Colored absolutely magnificently!! Love your embellishments too.

Your coloring is gorgeous! Love the pin with the pearls which brings it together.
