Got Tractor

Good morning and welcome to my blog.  Today being Wednesday it means it's another wonderful Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.
Congratulations to our winner and to our top 3 cards.

This week Sally has another wonderful sketch to work with which is really easy and you wouldn't believe it but most of our DT's chose a masculine images for their cards, and none of us knew what each other had chosen.

Sketch# 024
I've made a Father's Day card for my husband from the boys, Father's Day here in New Zealand is the 7th September and is always the first Sunday in September.

This photo is the reason for my card.  We purchased this John Deere Tractor February this year.
Her name is Bertha( I named her Bertha as she looks so big) and my husband loves her to bits.  We purchased her to be able to tow our boat from our Bach to our boat ramp rather than using our Jeeps for launching our boat.  Here is Bertha before her makeover, the front end loader has been sold, she had new mudguards, rubber seals, and  she's currently in the paint shop finishing her total makeover which she needed as she's 32 years old and hasn't ever been loved like she is now by my husband.
I'll post an up to date photo once she's finished.

This week our sponsor is Laurie from Doodle Pantry, wow Laurie has totally amazing images and just so many to choose from and some sets have precoloured images and design papers attached to the file as well.

Congratulations to our winner and top 3 cards from last week, great work ladies.

Black Eyed Susan

Good morning and I'm so sorry this posting is just so late but I've had one of those weeks from hell as my son was taken sick and is now a lot better and thank goodness tomorrow is Friday.  My youngest turned 13 on Wednesday and now I have two teenagers.

Congratulations to our winner and to our top 3 this week, great work ladies.
This week we have a blast from the past a sketch we used in 2013 which I loved then and again now.  It wasn't until I started this posting and didn't realise that I have used similar colours on my original card.  It's funny I was going to colour it yellow as Black Eyed Susan's are both pink and yellow and at the last minute changed my mind.

Because it's the end of the month here at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 we have our usual twist and this month is
