Sweet Sketch Wednesday card for
Sketch #131
Hi everyone, yes I'm still alive and kicking.
I'm so sorry I haven't posted any cards since January. But since then I've had time to make a few cards but not the time to post them. I've been snowed under with a family wedding, taking my son to University which is a six-hour road trip from our house and a house full of visitors, cooking washing and cleaning. My life hasn't felt like my own. Once some of the visitors left, I then had my bestie from London staying and my sister from Cairns in Australia. I haven't laughed so much in years, to the stage I was crying with laughter and nearly wetting myself at the same time. And there wasn't a lot of alcohol involved just good clean fun during that time it was fun times all around. But I must admit my eldest had been at boarding school for 7 years and I saw him most weekends now he's so far away from me it's quicker for me to fly down to see him rather than drive and I'm missing him dearly but I can't tell him that. I've just got to get more involved with the business, housework and more crafting and I can't wait for him to arrive home on Good Friday for two weeks mid-term break. Then he goes back to Uni and my youngest will be home for a two-week break from boarding school. I can't wait.

Kathie, I actually checked your site just yesterday to wonder if you were alright. I knew that you were on FaceBook, but didn't know what was going on. Just so glad that you weren't having surgery and that you were only having too much fun!!! I know that you are missing your boys, and they sure do grow up too fast. I know that I enjoy FaceTime with my son since he is 1000 miles away and it's and 16- 18 hour drive. I start a new job on Monday so I am frantic about not having as much time to craft. But I knew that this day would eventually come and I need health insurance better than I am paying for now. All of your cards are just gorgeous as usual!!!! So glad that you had time with important people i your life because life is just too short.
A brilliant selection of cards Kathie, I especially love the one you made for sketch 131 at SSW2 it is just so pretty. What a busy summer you have had, hope that you have a lovely Easter break with the boys too.
Hugs
Anne xx
