DECONSTRUCTED TULIP

Good morning and welcome to my blog.  I can't believe we are in the middle of February already. Don't you feel that as the years pass by, they become shorter or it's me getting older?  I hope everyone is over the silly season and we are now on the road to new beginnings for the start of 2025.

Today I have one of my sketches for February and Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

 Sketch #296

This sketch is rather simple and I'm really pleased with how my card turned out especially adding that touch of lace which I haven't done for a long time.
Again this is another easy sketch to make.

A quick peak of the inside of the card.

Don't forget to visit Sweet Sketch on Wednesday 2 and check out the design team's creations.

Challenges I'm Entering:
1. 613 Avenue Create Challenge February 2025 TOP ROCKER AWARD + FRONT PORCH WINNER FEBRUARY 2025
Lace, I haven't used lace from my stash for over a year, and this wonderful Bugaboo image of the Deconstructed Tulip
This Bugaboo stamp is one of my very favourites because it's a long image rather than a square.  I've split it up sometimes and used an individual image from the three for a square panel, and being a Tulip, the colours can vary because of the selection of coloured Tulips.

Card Recipe:
1. Base: White French Linen card stock.
2. Coloured card: Bazzill Velvet
3. Design paper: Pale Garden by Crafters Choice
4. Image: Floral Trio by Bugaboo Stamps

5. Colour Medium: Copics

6. Tools Used:

7. Dies Used: Spellbinders Classic large circles and Lacey Circle unbranded for the back of the card.

8. Embellishments: Lace, ribbon insert, and mauve gems from my stash.

9. Inside and the back of the card.

Great card. I love how you took the sketch and made one long rectangle into 3 blocks. Genius!
