WEDDING CELEBRATIONS


 WEDDING CELEBRATIONS
This year we are lucky enough to be invited to my husbands's ex-PA's second marriage.  She's been part of our family since my boys were born and 2 years old.  Her children were a bit older and her daughter used to babysit our boys.  She worked for my husband for 15 years, she saw more of him during the day than I did.  

She has now found a lovely man and is now married as of this past weekend.  I also designed their wedding invitations. 

Challenges I'm Entering:
Snippets from making the card and using leftovers.


Card Recipe:

1. Base: White American Craft Card.
2. Coloured Card: Pale Blue Bazzill. 
3. White Card: French Linen
4. Silver Mirror Board
5. Sentiment: PC Generated

6. Dies and Tools Used: About 10 different dies are used.
Spellbinders border die curved, Petite Ovals, Petite Ovals Scalloped edge, Leaf, Mr & Mrs, Frames, Spellbinders Classic Circle, Classi9c Circles Scalloped edge, Heart and Celebrate.

HAPPY 60th BIRTHDAY


Happy 60th Birthday

I was asked to make a card, for a 60th birthday celebration.  Her name was Joy and I was meant to know her.  I really had to think about this name and whom was ordering the card and I couldn't think for the life of me who Joy was.  Well I got to meet Joy at long last,  Joy was the makeup artist that did my make for me 25 years and one month ago today.  It's a very small world isn't it? 


This is a Dutch Barn fold card.

5. Embellishments: Gems, hearts and flowers all from my stash.


6. Side Panels: Happy Birthday PC Generated and Love is a unbranded die.  Plus gems from my stash.

MERRY CHRISTMAS IN JANUARY 2024


Merry Christmas from my family to yours.
Here comes my selection of 2024 Christmas cards, well you can never start too early can you?
This is a card that I made late in December and was delivered to the United States to my son's
in-laws.  I loved how this card turned out and at the same time I made a second card in different colours and this one was sent to England.  



 Challenges I'm entering:
(Touch of gold on the left corner of the design paper.


Card Recipe:

1. Base: White French Linen card stock.
2. Coloured Card: Teal from Kaisercraft and Silver Mirror board from Rosie's Studios
3. Design Paper: Kaisercraft from my scrap bin

4. Die Used: Merry Christmas Unbranded Die

5. Sentiment: PC Generated using Papyrus Font.


6. Snow Flake using a Spellbinders Die.



7. A group of embellishments put together from my stash.  Flower, Snowflake Die, Silver Twine, Silver Gems, White and Silver Ribbon.

Cherry's Welcome to 2024 Sketch #269


 Happy New Year everyone.
It's summer here in New Zealand, Christmas and New Year means Cherry's and there are an abundance at this time of year which we absolutely adore.  These Cherry's have Glossy Accents on them and they look good enough to eat.
This is my first card for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 for 2024 using a new image I've never used before.
