RED WHITE & BLUEThis weeks Cupcake Craft Challenge the colours are RED WHITE & BLUE. I love these colours especially having boys and making boy cards. This card was made last week for my son Ryan's 8th birthday. He's always walking around the house as though he's playing an Electric Guitar so when I saw this image it was just perfect for him. I took a photo as you do LOL and this has now fitted this challenge. The Electric Guitar has been coated with about 4 coats of Glass Coat to make it shine and also to stand out.
Card Recipe:
Card Stock: White card stock for the base, Red and Blue Bazzill.
Design Paper: Again from my stash I bought some time ago for another card.
Image: Tyler as a rocker from Pollycraft these images are just so cute.
Colour Medium: Water Colour Pencils, Red and Silver Gel Glitter pens.
Embellishments: Ribbon, Brads and Metal thingies from my stash.
Sentiment: PC generated Tempus Sans ITC.
Tools: Water Brush, Cuttlebug, Houndstooth Embossing Folder, Star Punch, 8 punched from Cuttlebug Red Tag Sale. Glass Coat for the Electric Guitar.
Hope everyone has a great week, we're off skiing this weekend before the snow melts approx 4 hour drive from our house.
