"Strawberries one of my very favourite fruits"
I do think it's their smell it's just so beautiful
Good morning and welcome to another wonderful Wednesday. It's so warm here today that I've noticed our Spring Bulds coming through, it's Autumn here and we haven't had winter yet!!!
Wednesday can only mean one thing it's Sweet Sketch Wednesday and we're counting down now to the big century #100.
On the 4th May 2011 Sweet Sketch Wednesday will be celebrating our 100th sketch. Each sketch has been designed by our own very talented Arlana Patten so I do hope you can join us to celebrate the occasion .
This week we have another wonderful sketch to work with sketch #97 and our sponsor this week is Clear Dollar Stamps. I picked Strawberries not only are they my favourite fruit, I adore the smell and I couldn't resist colouring these images. I think they turned out lovely and my son said "Mum they look good enough to eat" he thought I had mounted a photo on my card. That was such a lovely complement from a 9 year old boy.

I remember as a child and when I got older going to pick Strawberries I think we ate more than we picked. They should have weighed us before we went in and after we came out LOL.
Take and thanks for dropping buy I just love reading your comments and if I can help you in any way just drop me an email.

They DO look good enough to eat - yummers! I love the glossy look, makes it even more realistic! The perfect papers to match too - my favorite!!

Wow Kathie, I really thought your images were pre-colored. You did an amazing job coloring them up. They really do look real. The crystal effects really makes them look that way. Beautifully done. And wow, on your post for SSW this week. You did an amazing job putting it together. Thanks for all you do!
Hugs, Nancy

Kathie, your strawberries cards look good enough to pick and eat. I love your DP and your gorgeous ribbons and flowers. Beautifully coordinated. Your post this week was so fun...thank for your part in helping out. We are also looking forward to the Blog Hop in a few week and appreciate your help on that too.
WOW Katie, two gorgeous cards!! beautifully colored that those strawberrys look sweet enough to eat!! Your papers and sweet flowers are the perfect touch!
Absolutely gorgeous cards Katie, I love how you showcase the same image in two different styles.
Hi Kathie!
Your strawberries are fabulous! I love the glass finish you added to them and your designer papers are gorgeous and so perfect. It's amazing the two different looks you've achieved by just changing the order of the papers and embellishments. Two wonderful cards that make me long for fresh picked summer strawberries!
Hugs,
Sharon :)
