Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch # 211-122

Good morning and welcome to another wonderful
Life without a computer or Internet.  How our lives have changed so much in the past 20 years.  Truthfully I'm totally lost without both of them.  Sunday evening around 5.15pm it was dark and the heavens opened up there was flooding on our roads, it was windy and stormy with thunder and lightning.
Yes I was out in it, dropping the boys off as they were getting a lift back to boarding school.  Darling hubby went to use the laptop around 7pm and my desktop and both computers were useless as far as he was concerned because neither of them were working.  My words were why aren't they working and it's not the computer but the operator which didn't go down well.
Because of the storm we had loss Internet access something to do with the line and the wiring.  It wasn't until late Tuesday afternoon I got my darling computer with Internet back up and running after having intermittent access whilst the telecommunications technician was fixing the line problem.  Once fixed this crafting girl had a smile on her face again.
I have to thank Judi from Sweet Sketch Wednesday this week for doing my posting for me because I didn't have a computer.  All I can say is thank goodness for I-phones with email access so that I could contact Judi and I didn't want to leave my team up the stream without a paddle.

Congratulations to our winner and to our top 3 cards awesome work ladies and there were some lovely cards.

I adore Blue and White China theme too. IOt goes perfectly on your card.

I know how you feel without the internet. Mine has been intermittent recently, and everytime it is down, I feel as though I have lost an arm.

Anyway, hope you are all sorted now and have a good week.

Hi Kathie, I am happpy to hear that your internet is up and running. I can't believe how dependant we have become to it. I live on my computer and don't know what I would do without it now. LOL.

Kathie, love your china cups and paper piecing. The ribbon and flower are a wonderful contrast. Sorry to hear about your computer problems - I know that can be such a drag. The other week, I just had problems for part of a day and I know what an inconvenience that is. You are right how our world has changed with all this technology.

This is so pretty Kathie! My sister had some blue and white dishes way back that I always admired. The pink ribbon, flower, and pearl flower center really add life to this gorgeous creation.
