Stocking Pals

Good morning and welcome to my blog.  I can't believe this is my last posting for 2015 and won't be back again until February 2016.  I'm taking a break to Europe with my family for 7 weeks.  We're starting to get excited but I do have so much to be before we leave.
Congratulations to this weeks winner great work there were some lovely cards I commented on this week.

It's the end of the month challenge this week here at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and we're rewinding and revisiting a sketch of Arlana Patten's from October 2010.

I had so much fun making this card, as it's not traditional Christmas colours but thought it was something a wee bit different.  There is a total of 43 layers in making of this card, from the card base, ribbons and flowers.

Here the sketch our design team worked with it isn't hard and a load of fun.

Sketchy Candle

Good morning and welcome to my blog.
It's a beautiful spring morning here in New Zealand and it's countdown here before we leave on our trip and I think I'm going to have to start writing a list as I know I'll forget something that has to be done before we leave.

I'm sharing a photo of a vase of Sweet Peas I grew myself from seeds and nurtured to be able to pick this lovely vase on Saturday morning.  I just adore their colours and perfume.  They bring back childhood memories of my Dad always growing them for my Mum who also adored them.

Congratulations to this weeks winner they were lovely cards, great work everyone.
Now onto this weeks sketch which I love and is really easy and goes together very quickly.  I rotated it this week to fit my image by 90 degrees to the left and as you've seen the finished result.

Sketch #75
