HOT CHOCOLATE

 Hi everyone, and welcome to my blog.  Today I am featuring a card I made for my DigiChoosday DT card, and our subject was Hot Chocolate.

Hot Chocolate for me at this time of year seems funny, as we are in the middle of our summer here in New Zealand, and it's the last thing to drink on my mind.

I couldn't resist using this adorable Polkadoodles image, Sweet Freddy Fox with Macrons.  The colour palette I selected brings a smile to my face, as they are bright and cheerful colours.

This card is suitable for both feminine and masculine recipients.  

Here's a look at the inside of my card.  Yes it'a an easel card, I have made one of these for quite some time.

Inspired by the cold and snow, which means warmth inside and a Hot Chocolate

Card Recipe:

1. Base: Kaisercraft Pool

2. Coloured Card: Kaisercraft Pool, Tangerine

3. Design Paper: By Polkadoodles Let's Hang Out Collection DLPD 8408.

4. Image: "Hot Chocolate Sweet Freddy Fox with Macrons" DLPD 9507

5. Colour Medium: Copic Markers

Colours used: O, E000, E00, E08, E37, E50,E51, YG11, YG68, RV10, 

C01, BG000, BG13, BG49, R02, $32, G62.

I also used black & white gel pens to accentuate his nose, gloves and dots on the cup.

6. Embellishments: Aqua satin ribbon, Orange gems, two orange brads, and a tiny

A pompom for the top of his hat is the finishing touch to the card.

7. Sentiment: Thinking of You from Alcea Hollyhocks DL9346 by Polkadoodles.
