Welcome everyone to my blog and to another wonderful

Firstly I would like to apologise to everyone especially my fellow design team members, and our wonderful followers for not commenting on your blogs about your amazing cards this week.  I had  a heck of a week with sporting commitments travelling 100's of kilometres each day for 5 days in a row and at the end of it I didn't know if I was Arthur or Martha.  As of today I have one son back at school and the second starts next Monday and then I'll be able to get back to routines and reality.

This week Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 has a twist, the last week of each month we won't be having a new sketch, you can choose your favourite one from the past month and January's twist is PAPER PIECING.

This week I have chosen sketch # 002 it wasn't my favourtie sketch #001 was but felt that the image I was using best fitted this sketch and after creating my card with sketch #001 I felt I couldn't do that sketch justice again as I loved my first attempt so much.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 Sketch #004 Sponsor Fresh Brewed Designs

Welcome to another one of my hectic weeks whilst my boys are on their summer holidays.  I shouldn't complain as Liam starts school again next week and Ryan the following week.  I will be up on Wednesday morning before the crack of dawn at 4.30 am to leave home at 5.45 am to get Liam to rowing training as he has a regatta over the weekend for 3 days.  Training starts at 7.30 to 9 am as I have a 1 and half hour drive to get to the training, he then trains again that evening from 4-5.30 pm so I've decided to stay in Cambridge overnight and on Thursday morning is the same training schedule.  Racing starts on Friday but as I don't have the race times as yet I'll come home to my own bed on Thursday night for a good nights sleep and to see hubby and my cat.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 this week had some wonderful cards as well as work from some new followers I haven't seen before.  Congratulations to our winner and to our top 3 cards great work ladies.

This week we have another lovely sketch by Sally.
