Arctic Fun

Welcome to my blog, I can't believe that it's only 18 days until Christmas, oh where has 2017 gone to?

Today is the 7th day of Summer here in New Zealand and for early December we're having a heat wave, yesterday where we live it was 32c (89.6 f) which is very hot for this time of year.  We usually get the temperatures in January and February.  I hopped into my car yesterday and it was 38c left like hopping into an oven.

It even feels too hot to craft.

It is an easy sketch and I got my inspiration from my husband shirt whilst I was ironing it.

Snow Days

Welcome to my blog.  You could say better late than never.  Here it is Saturday morning here in New Zealand and I've just started writing this post after a very long week which included my birthday, my eldest son graduated from college and is starting University in February.

Yesterday was the leavers Chapel followed by a sit-down dinner for approx 500 people with students, parents and caregivers and Thursday was prize giving where my son received the

Royal Aeronautical Society award and a nice cheque to help pay for textbooks. He'll be studying a Bachelor Of Aviation Management next year it couldn't have been award to such a deserving young man.
